Former Napoli captain Marek Hamsik has plans to eventually return to the club.

That’s according to confidant and former Slovakia teammate Martin Petras.

“Marek was close to Napoli this time too, then in the end he didn’t arrive, but we always try to bring him back to Naples,” Petras told Radio CRC.

“He has a lot of things in Slovakia, he can’t pack his suitcase and leave from one day to the next, certain things have to be planned. However, returning to Naples is an idea that who knows, maybe one day will come true.

“In some role I believe that he’ll be back someday.”
