Champions League final HALTED after just seconds due to three pitch invaders in major Wembley security breach

THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE final has been halted after three pitch invaders ran onto the field.

The ball had been rolled back to Thibaut Courtois before a man dressed in black ran onto the field of play.

He was joined by two other men wearing white shirts.

The game was then delayed by two minutes as Wembley security removed the men from the field.

TNT coverage then cut away from showing the pitch invaders during the coverage.

Both Carlo Ancelotti and Edin Terzic could only look on in annoyance as they waited for the game to resumed.

One of the men that stormed the pitch had attempted to take a selfie with Real Madrid and Brazil superstar Vinicius Jr.

Former Manchester United player Marcel Sabitzer, who starts for Borussia Dortmund tonight, was pictured tackling one of the pitch invaders.

Eagle-eyed fans on X spotted the intervention of Sabitzer.
