Footage of 11-year-old Musiala making his Wembley debut posted by childhood club

Footage of a young Jamal Musiala playing at Wembley has gone viral on social media after he starred in Germany’s 5-1 rout of Scotland in their Euro 2024 opener.

The 21-year-old produced a stunning performance at the Allianz Arena, scoring once, and tormenting Scotland’s defence throughout the match as he reminded England fans of what could have been.

Musiala was born in Stuttgart, Germany but spent the majority of his childhood years being raised in England and went on to become a regular in the Three Lions youth set-up.

Before any of that though, Musiala’s primary school Corpus Christi School represented AFC Wimbledon in the EFL Utila Kids Cup final at Wembley.

Already demonstrating the skills that would go on to make him one of Europe’s most vaunted young talents, the youngster dazzled on the hallowed turf of the national stadium.

Against Fleetwood Town the 11-year-old Musiala netted a first-half hat-trick, before going on to add a fourth after the interval to secure a 7-1 triumph for the Dons.

Wearing the number 16 shirt, Musiala’s sublime technique and ball control are on full display on the small pitch, effortlessly taking on defenders and scoring multiple goals.

In response to the video, Wimbledon’s official social media account joked: ‘ It’s not too late to come back @JamalMusiala
