The new Fenerbahce manager has been enjoying his summer before taking over the Turkish club, having been appointed just weeks ago having left Roma in January.

He carried out punditry duties last month during TNT Sports’ coverage of the Champions League final, and has now taken to modelling as he helped launch the trainers.

Adidas Originals and JJJJound, a Montreal-based design studio, have again partnered up to produced the footwear, having partnered up earlier this year.

Mourinho, modelling in the photos, could be seen donning the shoes, in one photo appearing to watch a video on his phone. He is backing his native Portugal to win the Euros this summer.

Focusing on the trainer, adidas say the footwear is ‘made up in a tonal khaki colorway with a hairy suede upper, matching tongue, and gum rubber outsole, the next iteration of the JJJJound Samba comes replete with a host of carefully considered touches including co-branded sock liners’.

The photos including Mourinho are said to include a backdrop of ‘quotidian Portuguese life’, with his inclusion said to be an ode to the brand’s sporting legacy.

The line will arrive on June 27, days before Mourinho is due to take over with Fenerbahce.

The 61-year-old was seen posing in photos as he tried out modelling to go alonside his punditry and coaching roles.
