 Luka Modrić (38 years and 289 days) becomes the oldest goalscorer in EUROs history ahead of Ivica Vastić (38 years and 257 days).

 Luka Modrić has just scored his 4th career goal at a EURO tournament, 16 years and 16 days after scoring his first one (against Austria on 8 June 2008).

Just moments after missing the penalty, Croatian captain manages to find the net!
