Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic admits a move to Inter Milan was close last summer.

The deal fell through over an agents’ row.

“I was very close (to joining Inter),” Samardzic admitted. “But then something happened, nothing too serious.”

Asked about Napoli, he said: “It was not as close as people were saying.”

Samardzic also denied claims of talks with Juventus.
