AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has paid tribute to Olivier Giroud.
The veteran has announced he will leave Milan this summer for the MLS and LAFC.
Pioli said: “I am proud to have worked with you.
“It was a privilege, it was an honor. I hug you, I thank you, I love you, you know, you are great. I hug you really tight.”
In three years at Milan – with two games still to play against Torino and Salernitana, the last at San Siro where he will be farewelled – Giroud played a total of 130 games, scoring 48 goals.
