Theo Hernández (26) is looking to leave AC Milan this summer and take the next step in his career, according to a report from L’Équipe. However, with the Rossneri keen to retain the France international, any interested party will have to stump up a considerable sum.

It is Bayern Munich who have shown the most interest in singing Hernández. As per L’Équipe, the Bundesliga side, who were knocked off their perch by Bayer Leverkusen last season, have been trying to advance in a deal to sign the full-back in recent weeks, however, they have thus far struggled to finalise an agreement.

AC Milan are asking for a huge fee for Hernández, who still has two years remaining on his deal at the San Siro. L’Équipe understands that the Serie A side are asking for a similar fee as that garnered by Atletico Madrid when they sold Theo’s brother, Lucas, to the Bavarian club back in 2019. It could therefore take an offer in the region of €80m to convince AC Milan to part ways with Hernández this summer.
