Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is backing Thiago Motta for success with Juventus.

The departing Bologna coach is favourite to land the Juve job.

Motta is a former PSG mdifielder and Al-Khelaifi said: “I wish him all the best, he is an exceptional guy who will certainly do very well in Turin too.

“He was with us for six seasons in which he won numerous trophies and I was able to appreciate both his football qualities and human ones too.

“I renew my best wishes for this new and prestigious challenge.”
