Predicted XI: How will France line up at EURO 2024 this summer?

With EURO 2024 fast approaching, fans of Les Bleus are wondering how Didier Deschamps will line his team up at the tournament. France are one of the favourites to win the competition set to be hosted in Germany this summer.

L’Équipe report that Deschamps is likely to rely on several familiar faces to start matches at the tournament. Despite fitness doubts ahead of the competition, AC Milan stopper Mike Maignan is expected to be the starting keeper. Across the defence, a familiar partnership is likely to be relied upon in Ibrahima Konaté and Dayot Upamecano, who have played together for both club and country.

In midfield, Griezmann will start in a role which he has largely impressed for Les Blues. The Atlético Madrid man will be joined by Aurélien Tchouaméni and Adrien Rabiot in the middle of the park. Kylian Mbappé will captain the side in attack and should be joined by Ousmane Dembélé and Marcus Thuram.

Mike Maignan – Jules Koundé, Ibrahima Konaté, Dayot Upamecano, Théo Hernandez – Aurélien Tchouaméni, Adrien Rabiot, Antoine Griezmann – Ousmane Dembélé, Marcus Thuram, Kylian Mbappé.
