Kylian Mbappe is reportedly set to live in a £15million mega-mansion in Madrid after completing his move to the Spanish giants on a five-year contract.

Real Madrid confirmed the arrival of the French superstar on Monday after he revealed he would be leaving Paris Saint-Germain last month.

It brings to an end Real’s seven-year long pursuit of Mbappe and further strengthens Carlo Ancelotti’s side following their Champions League triumph on Saturday.

The Frenchman – who scored 256 goals in 308 games for PSG – is expected to slide in seamlessly on the pitch, but a report in Spain last month also claimed Mbappe had already found a place to reside in off the pitch.

La Razon reported on May 21 that Mbappe was set to move to a luxury property worth £15m in the exclusive Madrid suburb of La Moraleja.

A report in ESPN even claimed that the house Mbappe has purchased used to be owned by former Real star Gareth Bale.

La Moraleja, one of the most exclusive districts in the Spanish capital, is also where David and Victoria Beckham spent most of their time when the former played for the Spanish giants.

The report in La Razon goes onto explain how Mbappe’s neighbours will include the likes of Sergio Ramos and wife Pilar Rubio, along with actor Richard Gere and his partner Alejandra Silva.

Mbappe played with Ramos at PSG for two seasons, and along with Gere, the trio are set to form a ‘golden triangle’.

Ramos – who owns two properties within La Moraleja – has the house opposite Mbappe’s new residence, while Gere’s is next door to the 25-year-old.

The report adds how Mbappe considered a move to La Finca, another luxury estate where property owners include Jude Bellingham and Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, due to the proximity of La Moraleja to Real’s training ground, which is a five-minute drive away, Mbappe felt more comfortable setting himself up there.

This comes despite La Finca reportedly being more secure and private for residents.

La Moraleja has long been one of the favourite residences for star footballers and other major names in Spain.

Those who have lived there include the likes of Beckham, Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, actress Ana Obregon and singer Isabel Pantoja.

It was previously a private estate belonging to a widowed marchioness until the middle of the 20th century before the construction of the first family homes.

Within the main estate, residences are gated and private, while 24/7 security is in operation.

One author previously described it as: ‘A moneyed enclave of the rich and famous, including politicians, actors, top businessmen,’ with house prices that ‘range from the merely extortionate to the outright laughable’.

La Moraleja is also said to contain some of Spain’s most elite private schools and sports clubs.
