Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard has posted a message to fans after their Champions League exit.

Inter were eliminated on penalties by Atletico Madrid.

Pavard said: “Sorry for the elimination, it was a battle and we gave everything, like you with your support.

“Unfortunately this is how things go football, with joys and disappointments.

“Let’s start again together, with the right spirit to win the Scudetto.”
