Diaz and Vinicius grab quickfire double for comfortable Madrid against Osasuna

Real Madrid are well on their way to a 10-point lead at the top of the Liga table, as they look in control against Osasuna – Girona face Getafe immediately after. It was a breathless first half, seeing Vinicius Junior and Dani Carvajal outscore Ante Budimir’s goal, but Los Blancos have been well in control in the second.

Brahim Diaz showed Spain manager Luis de la Fuente what he is missing by latching onto a Fede Valverde flick on in behind the defence. He was fastest, but his finish with his weaker foot was composed.

Less than five minutes later, Vinicius and Valverde were at the heart of Osasuna’s downfall again. Antonio Rudiger played an excellent ball in behind with the outside of his foot from the back, finding the run of the Uruguayan. He then touched into the path of Vinicius for the Brazilian to roll past Sergio Herrera for a second time.
