Udinese midfielder Samardzic admits frustration after Inter Milan defeat

Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic admitted frustration after defeat at home to Inter Milan.

Samardzic scored on Monday night, with the Zebrette losing 2-1.

He later told Sky Italia: “I always want to score, I didn’t expect it. But now we have to look ahead.

“Very much (it hurts to lose in final minute), we played a good game with the right attitude and conceding a goal like that hurts. There are many important games left at the end of the season, let’s look ahead. We have to save ourselves.

“We know that Inter play good football. If you are more open they hurt you and we tried to stay united. But let’s think about the next match, with our heads held high.”

On missing his move to Inter last summer, he added: “It didn’t happen, it hurts me because we didn’t win. I only think about this.”
