Moggi tells Juventus: Ignore fans and confirm Allegri

Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi believes coach Max Allegri should be kept on next season.

Juve’s season has fallen away since the New Year.

But Moggi told Radio Bianconera: “I say that Allegri has always done well. Then, you may like it or not, but when I look at the standings and the points, I say that Allegri has done too much. What I care about, however, is the valorisation of young people: Juventus has made a team of young people.

“Then, if Allegri were to win the Italian Cup and qualify for the Champions League, he must be confirmed without a doubt. The basic problem is that Juventus must avoid doing what he did in the past.

“To listen to the fans, they changed Allegri to take Sarri, the bearer of good football, only to then play worse.”
