Captain Bruno Fernandes scored twice to rescue a point for Manchester United at Bournemouth on Saturday night.
Dominic Solanke punished a slip by defender Willy Kambwala to fire the home side ahead in the 16th minute.
Bruno Fernandes levelled for Man United from close range in the 31st minute, but Justin Kluivert took advantage of another defensive lapse to put Bournemouth ahead for the second time in the 36th minute.
Fernandes bagged his second from the spot in the 65th minute.

Bournemouth (4-2-3-1)
Neto – 6
No chance of stopping Fernandes’s smash before he dived the wrong way at his penalty. Other than those chances, Bournemouth’s goalkeeper was not tested nearly enough.
Adam Smith – 6
Started on the left but moved to the right after Sinisterra’s injury forced a reshuffle, and conceded a penalty when the ball ricocheted on to his arm for 2-2. Harsh? Probably.
Illia Zabarnyi – 6
Ball spun up off him to leave Fernandes with a chance he simply could not miss. Otherwise paid close attention to Hojlund, who struggled to get the better of him.
Marcos Senesi – 6.5
Defensively sound and two assists for his troubles also. The first after his knock forward left Solanke through on goal. The second after he found the unmarked Kluivert.
Milos Kerkez – 6
First, he blasted the ball at Onana. Then, he headed against the crossbar. Then, he ballooned another header which was begging to be buried. Simply had to score.
Lewis Cook – 6
Gave Fernandes the odd kick and was a general nuisance in midfield, showing much more energy than the likes of Casemiro in the centre of the pitch.
Ryan Christie – 6.5
Booked for diving late on – naughty – and thought he had won a penalty in stoppage time, only for VAR to say the foul by Kambwala was outside of the box.
Luis Sinisterra – 6.5
So close to finding the far corner after charging at Dalot, who struggled with him in those one-v-ones. Unfortunate that injury meant he needed replacing before half-time.
Justin Kluivert – 7
United practically rolled out a welcome mat for him to make it 2-1 when he was left utterly unmarked, and he would have scored a second were it not for Onana.
Dango Ouattara – 6.5
Latched on to a lovely pass from Solanke but left with head in hands when he did not find the far corner. Linked up nicely with his striker as United were tested.
Dominic Solanke – 7.5
Such a handful that it would be surprising if Bournemouth are not tested for him this summer, with a fine finish to open the scoring after Kambwala’s slip.

Bournemouth played like they believed they could trouble United, and they did just that, even maintaining that belief when the odd injury occurred.

Andre Onana – 5.5
‘Dodgy keeper,’ went the old-school chant from the Bournemouth fans behind him. Could he have done better for both of the goals he conceded here? I suspect so.
Diogo Dalot – 5
Disastrous defending from United left Kluivert all on his own to make it 2-1 to Bournemouth. You could have parked a couple of buses in the space between Dalot and Kambwala.
Willy Kambwala – 6
Clearly gutted with losing his footing as Solanke made it 1-0, but played a big part in the build-up to United making it 1-1 by winning possession robustly. Glad VAR came to his rescue in stoppage time.
Harry Maguire – 5.5
Had to nip in to stop Solanke from scoring early on, but overall, United’s defence lacked organisation. As the senior defender, he needed to show some leadership.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 5.5
Tried to get forward down the left flank – even accompanied by the odd step-over – but overall, not the most memorable performance from Wan-Bissaka.
Casemiro – 5
Time has been catching up with the 32-year-old Brazilian and yet again, this was not the performance to suggest he is a player who United can count on.
Kobbie Mainoo – 6
Hint of a dive in the penalty box in the 12th minute – behave yourself, Kobbie – before his shot led to the penalty for United to make it 2-2 when it deflected on to Smith’s arm.
Alejandro Garnacho – 4
Poor touch which ultimately led to United losing possession before Solanke’s opener, and hooked at half-time following a substandard 45 minutes down the right.
Bruno Fernandes – 7
Made no mistake after the fortunate way in which the ball sat up for him to smash it beyond Neto for 1-1, and gladly accepted the chance to make it 2-2 from the penalty spot.
Marcus Rashford – 5
Should have scored but smacked his shot into the side-netting. Rashford largely looked lost on the left wing and was one of those lacking the intensity required.
Rasmus Hojlund – 5
You could argue he was feeding on scraps but this was a sleepy performance from Hojlund as he hardly got involved in the few chances that were created.
